| 1960/61 | In these years the then-mayor Mr. Josef Färbinger, who was the chairman of board of directors later, and other townsmen from Lofer founded the "Loferer Skilift Ltd." |
| 1960/61 | The first lift on Loferer Alm was the "Postalmlift", followed by the double chairlift "Loferer AlmBahn I" and the "Nachbaralmlift" |

Foundation of the present "Bergbahn Lofer Ltd.". The Company consists nowadays of 384 shareholders. The majoriy of the shareholders are from Lofer and the surronding areas. |
| 1973 | Bergbahn Lofer Ltd. purchased the "Loferer Alm Lift" and the "Schönbichllift" from the Rotter Ltd. |
| 1974 | "Schönbichl Ostlift" was constructed. |
| 1975 | "Loferer Alm Bahn II" (double chair lift) was constructed. |
| 1976 | "Grubhörndllift" was constructed. |
| 1982 | "Loferer Alm-Bahn I", which was a double chair lift at the time, was replaced by a 4 seated gondola. |
| 1990 | The T-bar lift "schönbichllift" was replaced by a 4 seated chair lift. |
| 1993 | "Kinderlandlift" for children, next to the valley station of "Loferer Alm-Bahn I" was constructed. |
| 1996 | The double chair lift "Loferer Alm-Bahn II" was replaced by a comfortable 6 seated gondola. |
| 1997 | Two new drag lifts for children replaced the old drag lift next to the mountain station of the 6 seated gondola. |

| 2000 | "Nachbaralmlift" at the middle station was replaced by a more modern drag lift. |

| 2001 | Contruction of the small drag lift "Wenalift" next to the "Grubhörndllift". |
| 2005 | Two T-bar lifts on the Loferer Alm where replaced by the 6 seated chair lift "Family Express". |
| 2006 | "Family express" chairlift is equipped with weather protection hoods and heated seats. |
| 2007 | High investment in our snow guarantee. From winter 07/08 Lofer will be supported by 50 machines for snow making (till now just 9) !!! Loferer Alm and the run down to the valley. |
